A few months ago I was approached by Andrew Flitcroft, the editor of Trout and Salmon Magazine, to see if I'd be interested in being guest editor of Trout and Salmon for a special new Autumn edition, which was going to be focussing on ghillies. I was really pleased to have been asked, and I have been working with the team at Trout and Salmon closely now for the last three months. We have been speaking to ghillies and producing articles for the edition, which is on sale in the third week of August. I really enjoyed working with the team at Trout and Salmon on this, as it gave me a good insight into how the magazine is produced each month.

These guys deserve a lot of credit for their time and effort spent with guests on a daily basis. they must have the aptience of saints at time. it was good to get some hints and tips from these experinced anglers intheir own right. we could do with more issues of S&T like this one. How can i obtain a copy of a back issue of the trout and salmon magazine for November 2011. There is a picture included of my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter on the Dee in August this year and the shops were sold out when I tried to buy one.
