I had a great few days fishing last month on the river Reista in the North of Norway staying at the fantasic Reistua lodge as a guest of the owner and kind host Roar which was organised my dear friend Harald Oyen from Fish Norway.co
The Reista runs parallel to the other famous Norwegian river Alta which is also known for it's big and hard fighting salmon. ( the average weight of salmon caught on the Reista was 8.5 kg against 7.5 kg on the Alta)
I had a fantastic few days and got into some of the biggest and hardest fighting fish I have ever had the pleasure of connecting with.
If you want to fish for the chance of a fish of a lifetime I cannot recommend this river highly enough.
Thanks sincerely to Roar, Harald and all the team for making my brief stay in Norway such a memorable one.
If you are interested in following in my footsteps in search of that fish of a lifetime and staying in the beautiful Reistua lodge then drop me an email for more details or click on the following links.
best
